Clarity Backed by Expertise

We are currently interested in differentiated specialty fertilizers, plant nutrition products, water-soluble and liquid fertilizers, micronutrients, biostimulants, microbial and biological inputs, sulfur-based fertilizers, fertilizer raw materials, and qualified OEM/private-label manufacturing capabilities. Our sourcing priorities change as buyer projects develop, so we also welcome differentiated technologies and products outside these categories.
-
We work with established agricultural companies, distribution platforms, and commercial partners in China. Many relationships have been developed through years of direct business cooperation. Because individual sourcing projects and buyer strategies can be confidential, buyer identities are normally shared after we establish a credible product fit and, where appropriate, appropriate confidentiality arrangements.
-
Yes. A significant part of our North American sourcing activity is driven by product and supply needs identified through our relationships with Chinese agricultural companies. Buyer interest varies by project and should not be interpreted as a purchase commitment until specifications, commercial terms, regulatory requirements, and buyer approval are completed.
-
A concise company introduction, product portfolio, technical specifications, manufacturing location, available capacity, typical MOQ, packaging options, export experience, and any OEM/private-label capabilities are the most useful starting materials. If you already have business or distribution arrangements in China, please let us know as well.
-
No. A company with a strong product or manufacturing capability but no existing China business may be highly relevant. We evaluate opportunities based on product differentiation, technical value, supply capability, commercial feasibility, and buyer fit.
-
Normally after we understand your product and capabilities and confirm that there is a credible fit with a specific buyer need or market opportunity. We prefer qualified introductions rather than exchanging contacts before both sides understand why a conversation is worth having.
-
The commercial model depends on the project. Supplier-side China business development may be structured through a sales commission, market-development retainer, milestone-based success fee, or a combination. Buyer-side sourcing and supplier-development projects may use a defined project or consulting fee. The structure is agreed transparently before substantive work begins.
-
Not necessarily. For transaction-oriented opportunities, a performance-based sales commission may be appropriate. For broader or sustained China-market development requiring ongoing work before revenue is generated, a retainer or project fee may be appropriate. The structure depends on the scope and objectives.
-
Not automatically. Exclusivity should be considered only when it makes commercial sense for the product, territory, buyer or distributor commitment, and long-term development plan. Existing supplier relationships and channel arrangements are reviewed before any recommendation is made.
-
Please tell us at the beginning. We do not want to create channel conflict. Depending on your existing arrangements, there may still be opportunities involving uncovered regions, different customer segments, OEM/private-label projects, new products, or other forms of cooperation.
-
Yes. When confidential technical, formulation, pricing, customer, or strategic information requires formal protection, VerdaCrop is open to appropriate mutual confidentiality arrangements.
-
Sensitive information should be shared on a need-to-know basis and with appropriate authorization. Initial buyer discussions can often use non-confidential product and capability information. More sensitive technical or commercial information can be handled after the parties agree on confidentiality and the opportunity has been qualified.
-
We can help identify the likely commercial and regulatory pathway and coordinate with appropriate resources where needed. Exact requirements depend on product category, formulation, claims, intended use, and applicable Chinese regulations. Regulatory work should be evaluated product by product.
-
The logistics structure depends on the transaction and Incoterms agreed between supplier and buyer. VerdaCrop can help coordinate commercial communication and evaluate practical shipping options, but responsibilities for freight, customs clearance, importation, and related costs should be clearly defined in transaction documents.
-
Yes. Where there is a strategic fit, VerdaCrop can support longer-term customer development, distributor relationships, market intelligence, negotiations, product positioning, technical-commercial coordination, and broader China market development.
